The berries were early on being grown and cultivated by the Inca Indians for their nutritional properties, but they are also found in many parts of the tropics, including the Amazon. The berries grow on a plant that is about 1 meter high and produces yellow-orange fruit that is covered with small, thin leaves. If you like small, healthy fruits and berries then the Inca Berries makes the perfect tongue tantalizing option. The tart berry is about the size of a cherry tomato.
Superfruit’s Inca Berries are organically grown and certified. The berries come from Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. We invite you to try them with some of our other berries and you will find an exciting and healthy mix.
